The\nlibrary provides a wide array of functions that solve processing problems\nassociated with GPS such as processing or using standard formats such as\nRINEX. The library is the basis for the more advanced applications\ndistributed as part of the GPSTk suite.\n\n\nThe GPSTk library provides the base functionality for the GPSTk\napplications and for a number of other independent projects. There are\nseveral categories of functions in the GPSTk library:\n\n   1. GPS time. Conversion among time representations such as MJD, GPS\n   week and seconds of week, and many others.\n\n   2. Ephemeris calculations. Position and clock interpolation for both\n   broadcast and precise ephemerides.\n\n   3. Atmospheric delay models. Includes ionosphere and troposphere models.\n\n   4. Position solution. Includes an implementation of a Receiver\n   Autonomous Integrity Monitoring algorithm.\n\n   5. Mathematics. Includes Matrix and Vector implementations, as well as\n   interpolation and numerical integration.\n\n   6. Application framework. Includes processing command lines options,\n   providing interactive help and working with file systems.\n\n\nThe GPSTk applications support greater depth of functionality to support\nresearch and development. The applications are almost entirely console\nbased (i.e., without a graphical user interface). They can be grouped\nfunctionally into a number of categories.\n\n   1. Basic transformations. Conversions of time and coordinate systems.\n\n   2. Observation data collection and conversion. Translating receiver\n   specific data formats to RINEX.\n\n   3. File comparison and validation. Differing observations files against\n   a truth source.\n\n   4. Data editing. Systematic removal of observations by satellite, type\n   or time.\n\n   5. Ionosphere modeling. Basic models of the ionosphere.\n\n   6. Autonomous and relative positioning. Navigation and surveying\n   applications.\n","package_architecture":"amd64","stem":"gpstk","readme":null,"dependencies":[{"path":"devel/cmake/core","type":"build","package_spec":"STEM->=4","url":"/packages/current/devel/cmake/core/"},{"path":"devel/ninja","type":"build","package_spec":"","url":"/packages/current/devel/ninja/"}],"reverse_dependencies":{"count":0,"url":null},"categories":["geo","devel"],"flavors":[],"only_for_architectures":["aarch64","amd64","arm","i386","mips64","mips64el","powerpc","powerpc64","riscv64","sparc64","alpha","hppa"],"not_for_architectures":[]}}
