Its primary\npurpose is to enable realistic view of the sky in applications such as\nplanetaria. Secondary objective is to make it possible to explore atmospheric\neffects such as glories, fogbows etc., as well as simulate unusual environments\nsuch as on Mars or an exoplanet orbiting a star with a non-solar spectrum of\nradiation.\n\nThe simulation is based on E. Bruneton's Precomputed Atmospheric Scattering\n(https://hal.inria.fr/inria-00288758/en) paper and the updated implementation of\nthe demo (https://ebruneton.github.io/precomputed_atmospheric_scattering). This\nin particular limits the atmosphere to spherical symmetry (which means localized\nclouds are not supported, and ground albedo is the same all around the globe).\n\nAn additional capability is simulation of solar eclipses, which is currently\nlimited to two scattering orders, while the non-eclipsed atmosphere can be\nsimulated to arbitrary order.\n\nThis package consists of three parts:\n\n * `calcmysky` utility that does the precomputation of the atmosphere model to\n    enable rendering,\n * `libShowMySky` library that lets the applications render the atmosphere\n    model,\n * `ShowMySky` preview GUI that makes it possible to preview the rendering of\n    the atmosphere model and examine its properties.\n","package_architecture":"amd64","stem":"calcmysky","readme":null,"dependencies":[{"path":"x11/qt6/qtbase","type":"library","package_spec":"","url":"/packages/current/x11/qt6/qtbase/"},{"path":"graphics/glm","type":"build","package_spec":"","url":"/packages/current/graphics/glm/"},{"path":"math/eigen3","type":"build","package_spec":"","url":"/packages/current/math/eigen3/"},{"path":"devel/cmake/core","type":"build","package_spec":"STEM->=4","url":"/packages/current/devel/cmake/core/"},{"path":"devel/ninja","type":"build","package_spec":"","url":"/packages/current/devel/ninja/"},{"path":"graphics/vulkan-headers","type":"build","package_spec":"","url":"/packages/current/graphics/vulkan-headers/"},{"path":"x11/qt6/qttools","type":"build","package_spec":"","url":"/packages/current/x11/qt6/qttools/"}],"reverse_dependencies":{"count":1,"url":"/packages/data/c5/c55a805468b6195823d2697aa8d5fd6a6cbb0902bb9a54e4c67e6c2041229b7d.json"},"categories":["astro"],"flavors":[],"only_for_architectures":["aarch64","amd64","arm","i386","mips64","mips64el","powerpc","powerpc64","riscv64","sparc64","alpha","hppa"],"not_for_architectures":[]}}
