Back to search · Project homepage
Description
Weston is the reference implementation of a Wayland compositor. It is a
lean, fast compositor with a modular architecture supporting multiple
backends (X11, Wayland, headless) and a plugin-based shell interface.
It includes a set of demo and test clients demonstrating the Wayland
protocol, as well as XWayland support for running X11 applications.
